2019 Mat-Su Borough Regular Election Information & Candidate Recommendations

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough will hold a regular election on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. The following offices are to be filled at the election:

  • Assembly District 1 – three-year term ending November 2022
  • Assembly District 2 – three-year term ending November 2022
  • School Board District 2 – three-year term ending November 2022
  • School Board District 5 – three-year term ending November 2022
  • School Board District 7 – three-year term ending November 2022

The candidate filing period opens at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019, and closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019. 

Candidates for Assembly

  • Assembly District 1 – Brian Endle
  • Assembly District 2 – 

Candidates for School Board

  • School Board District 2 – Jim Hart
  • School Board District 5 – Ryan Ponder
  • School Board District 7 – Jeff Taylor
