Alaska Republican Party Chairman Tuckerman Babcock made the following statement upon learning of the passing of former Fairbanks Representative Mike Kelly:
“Our hearts are with the Kelly family during this time of deep grief,” Babcock said. “Mike was an amazing Alaskan – warm-hearted, committed, always ready to roll up his sleeve for the good of the state. He will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor and his insights that came from a lifetime of being a true Alaskan. But he will be missed most of all by his family. Our deepest condolences to Cherie and the entire family.”
