Dear friends,
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Alaska Republican! This newsletter is for you. It’s our way of keeping you informed, engaged, and connected with the mission we all share: advancing conservative values, defending freedom, and building a stronger future for Alaska.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to the dedicated volunteers, donors, grassroots leaders, and Republican voters across our great state. Your passion, hard work, and commitment are the backbone of the Alaska Republican Party.
Because of you, Republican registrations are on the rise, and we’ve taken back Alaska’s U.S. House seat – restoring a strong conservative voice in Washington. Just as importantly, your engagement at the ballot box helped send President Donald J. Trump back to the White House and is helping shape the future of our state and nation.
President Reagan once said, “There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don’t care who gets the credit.” That spirit of selfless service is at the core of our Party. Whether you’re knocking doors, making calls, casting your vote, or encouraging your neighbors to get involved - you are the reason we succeed.
As your Chairman, I’m proud and honored to work right beside you. United by principle and purpose, there’s no challenge we can’t overcome together.
Thank you for being the heart of our movement. Stay engaged, stay informed, and stay proud to be a Republican…and stay tuned, there’s much more to come in the weeks ahead.
In service,
Carmela J. Warfield Chairman, Alaska Republican Party

A note from U.S Senator Dan Sullivan Hello, Alaska Republicans!
It’s an honor to be a part of our party’s inaugural newsletter. Thanks to Chairwoman Carmela Warfield and every Republican across our state who work so hard to get Republicans elected to local, state and federal offices.
As many of you know, we’ve been very busy in D.C. these past few months. I’ve been working hand-in-glove with President Trump and his administration to get big things done for our country and our state, and to undo so much of the damage caused by the previous administration such as closing our borders, strengthening our military, countering our adversaries, and strengthening our economy by unleashing our energy and natural resources across our country, particularly in our state.
The last few months have shown that there has never been a clearer contrast between what happens to Alaska when Republicans are in charge versus when Democrats are in charge. Joe Biden tried to crush our state, unleashing 70 executive orders and actions to lock us up and cripple our economy, an assault I fought every day in the Senate.
On day one, President Trump issued an Alaska-specific executive order, which my team and I helped write, to undo much of that damage and unleash the vast resources in our state.
Alaska has never seen such a positive signal directly from a U.S. President that we should pursue our vision of a state that seeks private sector wealth and job creation with a federal government that is a partner in opportunity, not a hostile opponent.
Together, we will continue to unite as Republicans to unlock the wealth of Alaska to create sustainable, private sector economic growth and good-paying jobs, and to ensure that future generations of Alaskans never have to go through another Democratic-led assault on our state that we experienced these last four years.
Thanks again for all you do. It’s an honor of a lifetime to serve as your U.S. Senator! |
A note from Congressman Nick Begich
Dear Fellow Alaskan Republicans,
Congratulations on the launch of your inaugural newsletter - a powerful tool to share our message, rally supporters, and highlight the incredible work being done to advance conservative values across our great state. I want to especially thank Chairwoman Carmela Warfield for her tireless leadership, unwavering commitment, and the strong foundation she’s built for Republican success in Alaska. The work we accomplished together in 2024 was only the beginning. As we head toward 2026, our partnership remains critical in the fight to defend liberty, grow our economy, and unlock the full potential of Alaska’s vast resources.
Now more than ever, we must stand united. From working alongside President Trump to restore American energy dominance to protecting our way of life and creating opportunity for generations of Alaskans, we’re proving that conservative leadership delivers real results. Together we will continue to strengthen the Republican movement in every corner of Alaska and ensure a brighter future for the people we serve. I’m honored to be in this fight with you.
For Alaska, Nick Begich

A note from Governor Mike Dunleavy
Fellow Alaskan Republicans,
I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for the hard work, time, and heart you pour into advancing the conservative cause across our great state. Whether you’re knocking on doors, showing up at community events, or simply standing strong in your beliefs, your dedication is what keeps our party alive and thriving. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “You have a republic—if you can keep it.” That powerful reminder is more relevant today than ever. Our duty to protect this republic—to guard freedom, defend the Constitution, and uphold the values that made America great rests with us, and I’m proud to stand with you in that fight.
Thank you to all of the districts and precincts for all the work you do to get Republicans elected. Thank you to our chair, Carmela Warfield, and all the volunteers that work tirelessly to get Republicans elected. It is because of you that we have a government by the people and for the people.
Let us also not forget the tremendous work being done for Alaska by President Trump and his administration, from securing our resource development opportunities to defending our constitutional rights. We are the party of freedom—the party that ended slavery, fought for civil rights for African Americans, secured voting rights for women and Native Americans, and continues to champion individual liberty and economic opportunity for all.
The Republican Party has always stood for the people, so let’s stay the course, keep up the fight, and never lose sight of the promise that Alaska—and America—holds when we stand united for freedom. |
A note from RNC Chairman Michael Whatley Dear Alaska Republicans, Congratulations on an incredible year of growth, momentum, and hard-earned victories. Under the leadership of Chairwoman Carmela Warfield, the Alaska Republican Party has delivered results and built a foundation that will carry us to even greater success in 2026 and beyond.
In the last year alone, Republicans reclaimed Alaska’s congressional seat, delivered a decisive win for President Donald J. Trump, took a stand to protect the vote in court and at the polls. The Party has expanded its base, welcomed thousands of new Republican voters, and energized supporters in every corner of the state. These accomplishments are the direct result of the hard work and dedication of volunteers, donors, and grassroots leaders who stepped up to make a difference. Alaska Republicans are proving what’s possible when we stand united, stay focused, and work as a team. Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to this success. Let’s keep the momentum going. |
