District 34 Convention March 5, 2022

 District 34 will hold its district convention on March 5, 2022. This will be in conjunction with the other districts in Region 1. The convention will be at Journey Church, 1201 Hoselton Rd, Fairbanks, AK.  The fee for convention participation by delegates is $25 and can be paid HERE.   To encourage participation donations have been promised for any delegate who cannot pay the fee.  The schedule for the convention is as follows:

8:00 – 9:00 am                 District Convention Delegate Sign In

9:00 – 9:30 am                 General Meeting (Featured Speaker Invited, Gov. Dunleavy)

9:30 – Noon                      District Conventions

The first order of business on our convention agenda is election of officers, including a District Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Finance Chair, and Bonus Vote. Our precincts have changed so we also need to re-elect precinct leaders. We are anticipating a win in the November Elections, so effective organization and fundraising are critical to our success this year. The second order of business is to discuss fundraising and our participation in the state convention here in Fairbanks. If time permits there may be some state rule changes and platform items to discuss and comment on.
